Our family will revisit Malaysia in in between 20-30 Jun 2009, many substantially Kuala Lumpur, Langwaki, Penang, Genting Highlands. Please recommendation a little many appropriate traveller attractions in these places, hotels or anything we consider competence be great for or enjoyment. Interested in sightseeing, diving, entertainment activities or any alternative family activity.

Langkawi is of course the best island for a time off. In Langkawi island, other than sunbathing, snorkeling, and scuba diving. Don’t forget to experience the cable-car ride to Mount Mat Cincang, 705 m above sea level, the 2nd highest peak in Langkawi. These views are really magnificent! You can also go to Pantai Tengah, it is the Underwater World Langkawi where you can view various aquatic and tropical creatures.
In Kuala Lumpur, things to do is shopping i guess. Don’t miss out shopping In Petaling Street or Kuala Lumpur Chinatown. It is a "must visit" place for many travelers who came to Malaysia. Other than shopping, Kuala Lumpur ( or KL in short) places of attractions are the Malaysia National Monument, KL Thean Hou Temple, Sri Mahamariamman Temple, KL Tower (you can experience to dine in a revolving restaurant at the top of the tower called Seri Angkasa) , KLCC Petronas Twin Towers, KL Butterfly Park, Bird Park, Deer Park, lake gardens and many other places. At night, if your are looking for nightlife entertainment, the 3 hottest spots are Asian Heritage Row at Jalan Doraisamy; Jalan Sultan Ismail, and Bangsar at the Kuala Lumpur city Periphery.
In Penang, place of attractions are Kek Lok Si Temple, Wat Chayamangkalaram Buddhist Temple, Penang Bird Park, Penang Botanic Gardens, Snake Temple, just to name a few. If you want to enjoy some local dishes, you can experience Penang’s most happening spot that is full of dining culture, a popular seafront promenade in George Town, Penang, the Gurney Drive (or locally Persiaran Gurney). You can also shop at the night market called Batu Ferringhi Sidewalk Bazaar at Batu Ferringhi road.
Try to book a hotel near in KLCC (or what we called Petronas Twin Tower) choose a hotel that is in city centre but cheap try to check the Curos Hotel or http://www.asiarooms.com
In KL City Centre go to Pavilion and BB Plaza in Bukit Bintang just walk shortcut to KLCC Convention. In BB Plaza you can find all the cheap stuff from electronics to fashion (dress, shoes etc.,) behind BB Plaza also visit the LowYat Plaza (IT Mall) you can find all the varities of gadgets and technologies and also don’t miss to ride the monorail and LRT.
try to visit Genting for indoor and outdoor. You will love and enjoy. Better book it now cause that place is always full due to the price that is cheap and nice place to have holidays, really good for family.
Go to Sunway Lagoon too and in Capsquare KL. Also you can try to go to Petaling Street (ChinaTown) tru Lrt in Pasar Seni Station then you can walk to chinatown..remember, all the stuff they selling are copies/fake if you really fancy to buy one, you always have to negotiate first and you’ll surprise the price go down at 50% less.
Taxi here are criminals. If have a taxi booth, better take a ticket there if not then insist using a metered taxi or negotiate the price.
Also, so many touters and monks here, be aware and don’t get annoy. If monks wants to give you something don’t ever take it, it means you’ll have to give them money. Real monks don’t accept money only food, so they’re scams.
the girl is right
