Which hotel in Chinatown (Kuala Lumpur) would you recommend?
My friends as well as we have been formulation a outing to KL to shop. Since it’s a initial time we have been starting to Chinatown, we suspicion it competence be simpler to stay nearby there.. Which road house would we recommend?

Ancasa Hotel of Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock, Kuala Lumpur seems to be pretty decent. (formerly known as Impiana Hotel)
It is near to the bus terminal, Plaza Rakyat LRT station, and walking distance to Jalan Petaling (Petaling St./Chinatown).
However, traffic is horrible over there, and please be aware of pickpockets and some crazy traders.
Definitely the award winning Swiss-Garden International Hotels, Resorts and Inns. I have personally stayed there before and it’s a good place. You can check out their website: http://www.swissgarden.com/hotels/sikl/index.php
swiss garden but check with asiarooms.com for good rates and other close by hotels. Chinatown is scary. if not check with concorde hotel and you can take the monorail (train) there.

I suggest you stay at the newly launched no frills Tune Hotel at Jalan TAR. It is value for money stay if you are not fussy with the typical 4-5 star service level. It is located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, hence moving from one place to another is easy.
