1- Average cost of chalet let contend RM 85 – RM 120 nearby a beach (5-10 mins walk)
2- Cheap chalet RM 50 – RM 65 utterly distant from beach (10-15m drive) though nearby to langkawi airport.
3- Expensive road house ranges RM 180 – RM 300 really nearby to a beach.
All deliberation carrying a same peculiarity of trickery & cleanliness.

ok back to your Q…fyi, Langkawi is not like it used to be before..gone are those days where you can get nice decent cheap chalet or expensive hotels at affordable rates..i just came back from Langkawi and gosh, the room rates was so bloody expensive even for normal cokia chalets!
Below are those that i really recommend for you to check out-

fyi, there is no chalet around or anywhere nearer to the airport..but there are budget hotels available

..well, dont be suprise that most 5 stars hotel room rates has gone up from RM750++ per room/nite. You can only get to stay in either Holiday Villa (4 stars), Frangipani Beach Resort (3 1/2 stars) or Mutiara Burau Bay Resort if you are looking for a room below RM300…

oops…sorry dear..salah la pulak..anyway, nowadays, wherever i go for a holiday, i will be taking a whole loads of army with me so i need to stay in a very comfortable place where it can accommodate everyone! so, i prefer to spend RM180-RM300 or maybe more in an expensive hotel/resort and it must be near to the beach!….but kalu me and my hubby jer..we dont mind staying in a regular chalet..but it must be super clean and no mosquito!!! eheheh…

Average price one enough. Near to beach enough, tak yah nak beach view lah.
Lagipun, beach kat Langkawi tuu, bukan nya cantik sgt. Unless you’re talking about redang/perhentian/lang tengah etc.
I’m a backpacker, i can only afford chalet/backpackers lodge haha…
Rainbow Lodge @ Chenang Beach is the best so far…
The staff are the friendliest people I have met.They are full of information about Langkawi..It is literally a 3 minute walk to the beach in a quiet area away from the noise of the main road..
Once stayed @ Geopark Hotel Oriental Village (sponsored – work purpose)..nice place..love the view of Matchincang Mount.
