Don't worry about shopping places, they have lots of brochures in the hotel. One other thing you could do is rent a car. Langkawi isn't that big and the road system is pretty easy. Hotels also provides maps in case you don't have a GPS. Going on a honeymoon right? So with a car, you can go out as you please and not be bothered about getting a taxi late night.
