there are lots of good hotels in Singapore, like Pan Pacific, Le Meridien, The Ascott Singapore, and many more which you can find list of them on 88db website, there are also some budget hotels, apartment or hostels which are good too, like the YMCA International House

many good options available, really depends on what you are looking for.

I highly advise a site called we use it to find good deals and more so view the many hotels available to make our choice

Octopus is a good site for hotel bookings. You would probably want to be in the Orchard Road area.

Most hotels in Singapore in the central area are 5 or 6 star hotels. An average night would cost around S$350 to $400. Unless you go for budget hotels along Chinatown area, but they do not offer a gym and pool. The cheapest one is Hotel Rendezvous, which is the cheapest at about S$220 per night, excluding taxes and other charges.
