I will go to Malaysia tomorrow (4th of November as well as come behind upon 11th) with my wife.. you went to London for honeymoon 3 moths ago as well as it was great. i was revelation my mother which a outing to Malaysia would be most some-more exciting. But you am afrais which my timing wasn’t right since of a sleet there.. what can you discuss it me about a continue in Kuala lumpur ( wehere you have been starting to stay in 4th, 5th, 9th as well as 10th of Nov) as well as in Langkawi (6th, 7th, 8th of Nov).. what should you wear?
One some-more thing: you have been starting to stay in Corus road house in KL as well as in Aseania review in Langkawi.. How most should i compensate for a top in both places from a airport? I’ve been told not to shift income during a airport,, where should i shift it? (from $ to Ring.)Thanks for assisting me
Thanks for your answers, it is unequivocally really useful! Is it protected to travel arround in a night (arround 20.00H)? where could you find a little great restaurants? what is a most appropriate approach for travel when you wish to see KL critical places?

I hope I answer this in time (before you leave for Malaysia)
Firstly, in November you should expect rain, however the weather varies so you might want to check out local weather report on newspaper at the hotel. As mentioned before, umbrellas are handy.
Any clothes are acceptable but not too revealing I guess, due to local customs.
A cab to the hotel from the airport should cost between RM 60-80. Another alternative is to catch the KLIA express. It’s a fast train to heart of KL, which will take 30 mins. You’ll need to buy a ticket to KL Sentral before boarding. This costs around RM 30 per person . Upon arrival, you can catch a cab to your hotel for RM 10 -15.
I’m not sure about the cab to Aseania, maybe around 40 – 50?
You can change your currency at numerous money changer, there are malls near Corus Hotel such as Ampang Park (older mall but cheaper rate) or KLCC (modern mall but higher rate). It is not that safe to walk around KL in certain places. I think you should take a cab if you foresee that the place you go is not well lit.
Good restaurants are around Bukit Bintang. You can take a monorail from KL Sentral or walk from KLCC Convention Centre. For authentic Malaysian food you could try Saloma Bistro which is a 20 mins walk from Corus.
Public transport in KL is not as good as London so best way for transport would be taking cab. However, Malaysians are helpful on the streets so just stop any (youths/ working professionals) and ask their recommendation.
I do hope you’ll get this and enjoy your holidays!
Oh and people seem to shop for cookware in Langkawi, you could compare prices to your country and buy them if worth it. But they would incur additional flight costs!
I was in KL for the last weekend and it was not raining, so you may be lucky. The rains seems to be delayed this year. Unfortunately, that means it was hot. But weather forecast for the next few days is rain, so all the best to you.
I move around KL in T-shirt, bermudas and sandals. However, if you plan on going to visit a mosque, please note that you will need to be "covered up". Short sleeve t-shirt and long pants would be best. Your wife may need head covering for the mosque. Other wise, casual is ok. Langkawi is definitely casual. It’s a beach!
Taxi to Corus Hotel from airport should be about RM60 – RM70. You need to buy a limo taxi coupon from the airport (you will see it after the customs), so you do not need to worry about getting ripped off. However, there are 2 choices, i.e. Budget and Premier limos. If you do not have too much luggage (I suppose there is only 2 of you) do not let them talk you into getting the premier taxis. The budget taxis are good enough.
I do not know about Langkawi, but I guess the taxis there would be similar.
Changing money: Airport money changers give slightly worse rates, so if you need small amounts, it’s fine. Otherwise, you can walk to KLCC or Ampang Park (nearby shopping centres) and look for a Money Changer. Normally their rates are displayed so you will know what you are getting.
Lastly, ENJOY!
Edit: Hope you read this before you depart! Walking around at 20.00 is safe depending on which area you are in. E.g. KLCC area, Bukit Bintang areas have a lot of nightlife and is relatively safe. Practise common sense, e.g. do not wander into back lanes or dark alleys or be too trusting and you should be fine. You can find lots of good food all over KL, KLCC, Bukit Bintang areas have lots of good restaurants. For the best street food, go to Jalan Alor near Bukit Bintang.
As for the important places in KL, you are staying between 2 LRT stations (Ampang Park and KLCC), so you can use the LRT for a number of places. For places not near LRT stations, you may need to take a taxi. They may overcharge slightly but they are still the best way to move about.
Corus Hotel in KL – good choice. Not too expensive, not too run down. Near to KLCC.
Rain in KL – yes its been raining ocassionally recently. Heavy rain. Umbrella would be good.
Attire – anything from short shorts to African traditional wear. Maybe short shorts with slipper, cus its gona rain.
Cab fare Airport to Corus – aiks, I’m not sure, should be somewhere below RM100?
Money changer – At malls. Usually their rates are better than Airport rates. Just change a lil’ at Airports first, to get you to places.
The rest – I don’t know.
Hello, I am a local
You are most welcome to KL Malaysia. Most of u r questions are already answered. I ll just add some tips 4 u. There is another option to go to u r Hotel – via an express rail link, fare USD10 each, arrive within 30 mins to central terminal city center. You already can see the Twin Tower from here, take a taxi – insist metered one go to the direction and Corus Hotel is just in front of it, then there is an Hop-On Ho-Off air condition coach similar to London Double Decker, to take u to places of interest around KL comfortably-fare <USD8. Dont forget to go to Bukit Bintang Road in the evening its safe but just extra carefull of motorcycle snatch thief (I hate to mention this to u, but have to). U can meet many foregners here doing shopping in an exclusive as well as ordinary shopping complexes and many eateries outlets arround u. Do visit "The Loaf" bread shop in The Pavallion Shopping complex, belong to our retired Prime Minister of Malaysia – Dr Mahatir Mohamad. U should go to Putrajaya-The Goverment Admistrative Complexes, take a lake cruise boat ride. The tourist information counter within hotel should be very helpfull. KL is well linked by a fairly good network of Mono Rail and Rapid Transit system one is just underneath the Corus Hotel for u r convinient. The weather forcast for KL are cloudy in the next 3 days. I hope u and u r new wife will have a memorable honeymoon in KL, Malaysia.
