Merdeka Hotel is not even a 3 star hotel. It has no relation with Merdeka Palace Hotel @ Suit in Kuching. Very sorry i don’t have the contact for this hotel and neither nor i know who is the MD ( why do you want to know the MD’s name ? )

There is a merdeka hotel in Kuala Lumpur but then it is not situated in Jalan Tunku Abdul rahman. It is not recommended choice of hotel to stay coz it is extremely low-budget hotel and does not even possesed any star rating at all and located in a red-district (if u know what i mean!)
the mentioned hotel is definitely does not have any relation with the Merdeka Palace Hotel in Kuching..and sorry i’m not sure who is the MD for this hotel too.
