My relatives have been entrance to bangkok in a couple of months time, as well as i was wondering, what alternative hotels have been there inside of on foot stretch of a park? i’ve been here a couple of days, as well as i consider which this would be a undiluted area for them to stay, though i do not wish to rubbish my time seeking for a road house in this area. we know i saw a vessel pacific, as well as dusit trani(?) hotels. have been there any a bit cheaper, though in a same area?

The Silom City In is withing walking distance, is clean and offers a great breakfast. It is one of the cheapest hotels in the area.
i wish i could help, but im actually travelling to thailand on xmas eve with a friend to visit a friend and he has booked these hotel rooms in bangkok not too far from Lumpini park.
There is Conrad hotel but it will be must more expensive than Dusit Thani and Pan Pacific, the cheaper one could be find but not in these area. But Lumpini park have underground and BTS link so don’t worry if the hotel is far from here.
You may not know it but taxi rides are real cheap in Bangkok if you tell the driver to use the meter. So, it won’t cost much to get to the park from a cheaper hotel.
If you have a hotel that is on the Skytrain route your parents can use that overhead rail service to get you close enough to get to the park.
I wouldn’t choose your parents hotel solely on how close it is to the park, if you do they may be forced to take taxi cabs everywhere instead of just walking to nearby stores, etc.

When you are looking for a hotel always mention how much you want to pay per night. That way the suggestions will be closer to what you want to pay.
See if this hotel price will do, the Asia Hotel, it is right on a Skytrain stop. Easy walk to shopping on Phetchaburi Road, you can use the Skytrain to get to MBK and Chatuchak Weekend Market too!

There are cheaper hotels available, some may be on Sukhumvit Road near the Nana Skytrain stop.

A really cheap place that has some "old world" charm is the Atlanta Hotel, also not far from Nana Skytrain stop.

Good luck.
There are many good hotels/ hostels on Silom which is in the walking distance to Lumpini Park. Check out HQ Hostel, Lub-D and Take A Nap. They are all very cheap and offered very decent amenities. By staying on Silom Road, u can take skytrain to travel to anywhere in Bangkok on Saladeang staton too. Enjoy!
Have a look at some of hotels and serviced apartments on Soi Langsuan which is on the opposite side of the park from the Dusit. Centre Point, Fraser Place, Natural Ville and the Mayfair Marriott are all very nice properties with lower prices than the Dusit and Intercontinental. Not only is it close to the park in one direction, it’s a short walk to the Chitlom Skytrain Station and the shopping at Central Department store and not far from Central World Plaza, Siam Paragon etc. in the other direction from the park. This website has good info on those places, also check the Mariott website they often have good specials at the Mayfair which is a place I often recommend and has beautiful suites for less than a standard room at the Dusit or Inter.
