There are 10 suggestions to question “lookin for hotels in Bangkok, Phuket and Pattaya between 20-25USD……Any suggestions or reviews please???”
Hi,
Bangkok
You made a good choice. I assume you are three persons traveling.right.well in the case of Bangkok if you have shopping on your mind then head for patunam market. There is amari Watergate and baiyoke sky hotel. Both are good enough. But for 25$, you three can get Watergate residency for abt 900 bhats at the most. Say them that you can manage on two beads. You can.coz they got king size beds. So that’s a cheap option. It is near baiyoke sky hotel<tallest building in Bangkok>.You can consult the locals, specially the Indians.coz it is owned by an sikh Indian. It got all basic facilities like aircon, shower but don’t use the electronic safe. And never keep any valuables in open in the room when you are out. Lost some of my usd that way.patunam is great for shopping but do it all on big c and even bargain there. Bargain a lot. if you wish to visit the city then khaosan road is a good option. You can get sawasdee hotels for a reasonable price. I suggest sawasdee krungthep inn at soi rambutri. Near o Bangkok. You can book them from their official site. Got good and basic rooms. You can easily get close t main monuments like grand palace, wat po,wat arun and vinamek museum from khao san road. Only vinamek mansion requires a tuk tuk.pay him 30 each way. So staying at khao san road for the first night is good. But don’t buy anything from there. You can get ample of street food from streets and they got ample of good hotels in case of vegetarian food, it is available for a bit expensive price at any Indian restaurant. if you go to Bangkok then don’t miss safari world and marine park and siam ocean world. They are great.don,t give more than 850 bhats for safari world and marine park to your travel agent <available in khao san road>don’t go there by taxi as it is expensive. Get your tour booked.siam ocean world is near siam paragon which is walkable from baiyoke sky hotel<tallest in Bangkok>.local food is cheap.
Transportation from airport+350 till khaosan road and 250 till patunam area.<maximum>
Khao san road to patunam+80 bhats..
<stay in Bangkok for two days first so you can do all the sight seeing and then get back here for shopping. cover everything exp siam ocean world in the first visit and then cover siam ocean world in the second visit with shopping..4 nites are fair enough<2+2>>
Phulet
Phuket is a great destination. stay near patong beach.near kalim beach. Cheap hotels for abt 1200 bhats.le tong and novotel are good ones. Bargain here. These hotels are located at safe areas in phuket.as you are with women then I would strongly recommend you here.located at kalim beach near police box. Get abt 3 days in phuket.
Day 1
Go for surin, patong, karon and kata beach.if you can walk 22 km or take a tuk tuk for abt 600 bhats for all of this.coz of mafia.you can get a bus and land on kata beach then walk till your hotel. not much if you are used to walk. I did it. so can you.also you can see all the green forests along the way.
Day 2
Go for maya bay,phi phi and khai islands tour.snokrelling is done greatly.dont miss it1500 bhats but worth the price. if you want some economical on then go for khai islands at 600 bhats.you will get it done till 4 pm.get back to hotel by 6 pm and then rest.coz it is tiring.
Day 3
I assume that you come back to Bangkok by the third day as phuket is done.if not then go for phulkt fantasia.
Phuket got good resturants on patong beach and also go straight near the police box.i mean not to patong beach road.good hotels there too.walk strainght from novotel<your hotel> to the police box which is nearby and then turn left .will see a 7/11 store and family mart later.it is a muslim area but the food is great.
<Stay in phuket for three nites only.will suggest you to leave after your island tour.fantasea isn,t good enough.better leave after day 2>
If you vist pattya then go for coral island by ferry and stay there between the ferry timing of 8 am to 6 pm.they got there own charm..pattya beach isn,t a good one becoz of nude ladies everywhere but good if you are alone.buses from pattya leave from ekamai<abt 100 bhats from patunam> and it takes 128 bhats from ekamai to pattya.
<you have seen the best of seas in phuket.dont stay in pattya>
<don,t know much abt ching mai.head to Nepal instead. Or even India. got better hilly regions.>
During your stay, get all your daily needs from 7/11 stores like water.make your own breakfast of bread and butter from 7/11.
Dress moderately.
Try to avoid tuk tuk and always get a metered taxi.
Fell free to mail me for any query. I assume you should get abt 9 days atleat.mail me if you like the idea..if your plans doesn,t suits the above then you can mail me your schedule like how many days you got in Bangkok and phuket.
Have a happy journey..
You can get good guesthouses in khoa san road, which are very simular in the rooms compared to a hotel. A twin room was 500B with ensuite and hot shower – New Siam guesthouse.
I don’t know if you want Hostels are not. They also have reviews on the hostels as well.
Yeah there are many sites. I’m not sure you’re looking the hostel and sharing with others. If you’re travelling alone or with friends, you can book a hotels with 20-25 USD. It’s better for staying in the hostel.
On this same soi you can also use the Bay Breeze or the Intown Holiday Hotel. All have air, hot water, private toilet/shower, maid service, cable TV and safety storage box. Bay Breeze and Intown Holiday have pools too!
During low season it is usually no problem getting a room with a walk-in. Lots of other hotels with air starting from around 400 baht in this area.
P.S. You can use the Skytrain to take you to the Ekamai bus station where you can get the 2 hour VIP bus to Pattaya. Price will be around 120 baht. Ticket window on inside, right side. Don’t get the slower Pattaya (4-5 hour) bus – no toilet and cold!
Good luck.
I live in Phuket and also use to work as online company in Phuket you can read the client review many website as below.
In Bangkok you might want to go for the White Orchid hotel. Right in the middle of Chinatown.
A great hotel I often stay whilst in Pattaya is called "Silver Place".
3rd Road close to xcyte disothek.
Very clean, brand new, safe, inexpensive…400-650 Baht.
Bangkok: P&R Residence Bangkok. Great location, convenient to the river. Quiet. Clean and comfortable room. I would highly recommend the hotel. Near the Pier Si Phraya for water taxi, within walking distance to Hua Lam Phong Station for MRT and to the skytrain station (but we don’t go there because we prefer to use MRT). If you want a free mini cruise on the river – just a few steps away – take the free boat shuttle service to the Hilton Hotel on the opposite bank of the river from the adjacent River View shopping complex. Whilst there marvel at the contemporary Thai architecture which the Hilton represents. superior US21/night (end July) http://discovery-thailand.com/Hotels%20Map%20Pages/Riverside%20Hotels%20Map.html
Pattaya: I’d recommend Sawasdee Sea View Pattaya Hotel. Located in central Pattaya, and very close to the beach. There are a few arcades there which provide reasonable pricing to tourists. Surprisingly, original items (made in Thailand) are quite cheap compared to the items in Bangkok. There’s a pharmacy, bar, tattoo parlor, convenient store and laundry facility on the same street (within 1 minute walking). standard US$15, superior US$21/night (end July) with breakfast. http://discovery-thailand.com/Hotels%20Map%20Pages/Pattaya%20Map/South%20Pattaya%20Hotel%20Location%20Map.html

Bangkok: Sawasdee Bangkok Inn, now there is promotion and include brekkie
Phutket: Patong Beach Lodge Phuket
Pattaya: Sawasdee Sea View Wing B Pattaya, budget hotel near beach front
You may review them and theer are many choices.
Have a good trip.
I have used this place a few times in Pattaya.
Honey Inn on Soi Honey Inn (Soi 11.)

Pattaya map:

Choose a hotel near Pattaya Second Road (Pattaya Sai Song on the map.) Easy walk to malls, bars, restaurant and you can catch the baht bus easy.
Bangkok.
I have used the Business Inn and the President Inn, both located on Sukhumvit Soi 11/1. This is real close to the Swiss Park Hotel and the Nana Skytrain stop. No Skytrain in the Khao San Road area. Suk 11 Hostel is not far from the Swiss Park Hotel.
