I am starting to KK for a 3 days 2 nights reduced outing from twenty-four November to twenty-six November 07. Do we have any referred to itinary for me to follow ? Also, do we consider is a great thought to stay 1 night in road house nearby to a island similar to Sutera Harbour so we can go to a island simply as well as an additional night in road house nearby to locale similar to Le Meridien ? Will it be as well heavy with this agreement ? Please advise. Thanks as well as Regards
Thanks for all a information. May we know is a cab transport run by scale ? If not, what is a charges in normal ?
Thanks so most for all your advice. Just to supplement which My mother as well as we will be nearing during 9:50 am upon Sat as well as skip during 11:45am upon Monday.

Actually kk is small and u don have to stay near sutera just to get to the Island. OK, for 3 days 2 nights, not much u can do, I assume the 1st day you touch down and 3rd day u leaving at night. Here the itenary
1st day: kk town sight seeing, filipino market, muzeum, mosques, tj aru beaches for sun set
2nd day: Island hopping, snokerling, back evening
3rd day: last minute shopping, filipino market again, Gaya street bazaar (but only sunday morning).
Usually tourist will come here for the island and Mt Kinabalu, so 3 days trip might be too short…
enjoy!
i would suggest you stay at sutera harbour, execellent sun sets over there. Le meridien the location is not so nice.
here some suggestions…..
1st day:- hire a taxi or self rent a car and go kota kinabalu park, kundasang and poring hot spring. since you dont have much days to spend go early morning and come back in the evening.
2nd day:- go island hopping and snokeling @ tengku abdul rahman park which is about 20 min by boat from kk town.
spend about 1/2 day there then you can come back to KK to toar places like phlilipino market and KK museum
3rd:- go to gaya streets (morning market), lots of thing to see there but only open on sunday morning till noon.
you can basicly arrange it your self some you have more of your own time without worry on the tour schedule. KK is just a small city.
must try the lobster there, really good! you can try the restautant @ the water front or the seafood restaurant next to promenen hotel.
BTY sutera habour is not far from the town, its about 10min drive or by taxi.
just to add the taxi thing: they are not run by meter, but by distance and the rates are fix. Airport taxis when you arrive: you have to go to the taxi/limousine counter and purchase your ride (thus the taxi drivers can’t overcharge you…). I don’t know exactly how much the ride to KK town is now but it used to be around RM17. In the city the basic fare is RM6 (from the centre to the jetty, for example) – ask the concierge, they have a list of rates/distances. When you take a taxi from the hotel the drivers charge you according to that list but it is good to know the rates when you are in town and you want to go back to your hotel because then the taxi drivers might add a couple of Ringgits to the fare, understandably… a full day charter to the Kinabalu National Park at Kundasang used to be RM350 but I think recently they were allowed to go up a bit; again, the concierge has the rates, enquire! Poring Hot Springs is now around RM450-500; that’s a full day charter and worth while if you are two or three, otherwise you might as well sign up for a tour which will cost you less if you are a single traveller. If you fall on a good taxi driver (discuss it with the concierge…) he will take very good care of you, stop for you to take photographs on the way, at markets etc, tell you a bit about Sabah and its people etc. Tip a good taxi driver at the end of the day, RM30-RM50 according to his services. If you find he does not merit any, don’t give… it is not customary to tip for short trips (within town, from/to the airport etc).
I guess you’re landing on saturday. Nothing much you can do. Depends on what time you’re landing on saturday, go for a night sightseeing if you land late. You don’t have to stay at Sutera Harbour just to go to the island. You can even stay at the city center (Hyatt hotel, Promenade, Le Meridien and many more others). Sunday, wake up early and go to the sunday market at Gaya Street, the market open at around 7 . You can walk around the market for about an hour, then go to the island. It will be about 5-7minutes walk from the market to the jetty and there will be lots of boats departing almost every 15 minutes (or depends on when the boat is full ). Come back in the evening and on Sunday night, there’s nothing really much to do. Too bad that you can’t stay longer because there so many things you can do around Sabah or outside KK (kota Kinabalu).
