As I’ve always advice before, get a tent and camp along the beaches… Trust me you’ll have an adventures night that you’ll ever had before.
all that you mentioned…sucks. I would recommend Shangri-la Rasa Sayang.
Buttercup is right, Rasa Sayang Resort is the best choice…..
Holiday Inn was okay, but expensive. Check out Baba Guesthouse in Batu Ferringhi.

i will opt for paradise…stayed there before and like it
Me and my family stayed at the Shangrila Sands. It was so nice. By the way you cant swim in the ocean….you do know that right? because of the jellyfish. I heard one kid died from stings.
