There are 6 suggestions to question “i'm going to kota kinabalu in december?”
if you are non Muslim they would be a lot of food you can eat here.
You must try Krishna fish head, Fish head soup in Penampang, Ketam belacan RM15kg San Sui Tom Yam, Teh Tarik Salim (many West Malaysian says it tasted way better than in Semenanjung, Ko No Mee in Tanjung Aru.
2) From Kota Kinabalu you can go to Manukan Islands if you bring your kids they would love it. It would take
20 minute boat ride from KK to . You stayed either in around Segama the Hotel Rate is around RM100 it’s still located in KK
Souvenirs West Malaysian like to go Philippine market located in front of Le Merridien Hotel to buy accessories such as pearl. Email me when you are here and i can recommend you more things
Shayna, Kota KInabalu is not within my expertise..so you need to wait answers from effendiR,gindy and gabby to answer you leh.. ciao!
hey i just came back from Malaysia. Before I went there my friends suggest me to look at http://www.malaysia-tourist-guide.com/. The E book is very useful and pack with information. I really suggest you to look at the website and decide yourself to buy the book or not. Its all up to you but to me 12.99usd is not a problem for all the information. cheers
U must try to climb the mt kk. my friend that has climbed the mt many times says it is very good. munuka or manuka ( not sure with spelling) has a lot of activiti to do snorkelling n many more exciting stuff. u must also try the seafood there if u haven eaten the king crab n big lobster in other places. 4 me as a person living in kl i don have the chances to eat freash seafood
-food
=try waterfront or tanjung aru
-hotel
=theres a lot…. 5 stars, 3 stars, backpackers….
-the must see places
=lembah danum but its too far away from kota kinabalu…
-shopping (souvenirs)
=pasar philipine infront of the le meredien hotel…
=warisan square
food:the best place is around the night market.my friend take me their for ikan bakar .its next to pasar Philippine..if im not mistake.
hotel:not really sure..maybe sutera harbor..depend with your budget.
