My family is starting to Bangkok subsequent week. I’d similar to to find the purify decent road house nearby on foot stretch to BTS. My bill is not some-more than THB1500 per night.
Any recommendation? Thanks.
There are 5 suggestions to question “Hotels in Bangkok near BTS?”
There’s a nice little cluster of cheap hotels and guest houses right by the National Stadium stop on the BTS.
They’re on Soi Kaseam San 1 (opposite the MBK shopping center). They run from 600-1,200 per night.
It’s a great location for families and it’s close to several really big shopping centers.
Find the hotel that is within your budget and search which one is near BTS station.
There are a lot of cheap hotels around the Siam and Silom area that you may like.
Asia Bangkok Hotel has a BTS station right outside on the second level. It is also right in the shopping area. But it is a little over 1500 a night.
Worth checking out though. It is a very popular hotel.
Hope this helps
You can find hotels on Sukhumvit Road which are near to Nana and Asoke BTS stations, or on Silom Road near Sala Daeng BTS station, or in Pathumwan near National Stadium BTS station or Rajthevi station.
Options include Ambassador Hotel, Asia Hotel, Trinity Silom etc etc. Look at hhtp://www.asiarooms.com. You can find plenty at your price range.
Try Samran Place near Rachathewi BTS, about 5-10min walk away. A standard double occupancy room costs 900 baht. It’s very clean. But there may be some lighting or sink problems occuring in most budget hotels. You can choose a meal out of its 5 choices for breakfast.
Google up and you will find its official website..
OK, I have the ideal, hotel it is part of the http://www.accorhotel.com chain which has Novotel, Hotel Ibis and Sofitel.
Grand Sofitel Surkimvit has recently opened for business and not alot of people know about it. But my friend who went there says it is ace, he got upgraded for free (booked it with http://www.airasia.com package)
Distance from BTS Nana is about 100 yards down a well lit street (on the even number side) no need to be checking for bad guys or naughty girls.
Central for all your shopping, and eating on the street.
Restuarant, now this is not clean as restuarant go but on between Soi 22 and Soi 24 there is a place called "Tip Top" my Thai wife loves the food in there and I never had a sore stomach from there.
And Cheap if your looking after your pennies after there you can take them to the Irish Bar ( I think it is called "Dubliner " not too cheap) or the is a lady boy show nearby (never been in but it is a proper ladyboy show, not the go go dancers type.
I have just checked the prices scatch that answer,

Here’s one guest house I really like. It’s clean, cheap, and has a great staff.
