I usually need the normal road house (maybe 3 or 4 stars). The usually IT mall we know is Low Yat Plaza. Are there any alternative IT malls?

I would suggest either Berjaya Times Square hotel or the Ritz Carlton hotel, both are just walking distance from Low Yatt Plaza, renowned shopping complex for IT products. There is another, the Imbi plaza, but there are not much of a price difference (about the same for many products). Other than these two, there’s the Digital Mall, but its located at a different city & believe me, being a native Malaysian, you can get better deal in Low Yat. There are several hotels around (5 mins walk) to Low Yat. Low Yat is the biggest IT mall in KL and if you cannot get a good deal there, I think other IT malls will be difficult as well. Most major shopping malls will have their own IT section : Sunway Pyramid, Digital Mall in section 14 PJ, 1 Utama,
The hotels which are between 5-10 mins walk to Low Yat would be Federal Hotel, Hotel Capitol, Melia Hotel, Royale Bintang Hotel to name a few. To get a full list (Low Yat is on Bukit Bintang Street), please see link below:
there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely show you great hotels at the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it’s very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money.
