Tell the taxi sign up clerk that you want to pay “meter only” and give the person the address of the hotel you want to go to. Your fare will include a one time, from the airport only, charge of 50 baht. Plus you have to pay for any tolls, perhaps 2 coming to a total of 65 baht added to the meter fare – all of which is paid at the hotel. If the driver asks for toll money that is okay, just don’t pay him twice, you get a receipt and the price is written on a sign.
