It costs around Sing $100 per day
Apparently, there are similar kinda hotels on the same road(placed one after the other)
If you try near Orchard/Newton, it would be around Sing $250 and above.

Well, the weather should be hot and may rain occasionally. Always bring an umbrella. I think it’s the monsoon season about then and if it isn’t sunshine, then it’s rain.
if u read the sunday bulletin, pages 2 n 3 advertise travel/tour packages that include hotel accomodations. just b sure you will be on or near orchard road so u have access to shopping, bus and the mtr. erstwhile hotels at your budget of about sgd200 is already quite high, you can even scale it down to sgd150. asia hotel at scotts road near orchard even offers room and buffet breakfast at sgd85. but even at changgi airport there are help desks for hotels and you may even get free limo shuttle. weather will b like what we have, hot n humid. when you get to the airport change your money enough to pay taxifare of sgd30, coins for any tipping and maybe a day’s room (if u are not using yr credit card) and some extra while you still familiarize to the place. u get better exchange rates downtown with the money changers (hotel exchange rate is also not good). on going home don’t forget to set aside sgd15 for airport fee which you can also pay ahead with the hotel frontdesk.
I recently visited Singapore and stayed at the Peninsula Excelsior Hotel. It’s near the City Hall MRT Station, Orchard Road and other interesting places. Minimum rate is about US$100 per night there. Don’t listen to whatever negative things people say about this hotel. The service is great, and the location is *priceless*.

Coming from the Philippines myself, I’d say it’s hotter in Singapore. Prepare yourself for muggy air, scorching heat and random heavy rainfall. Make sure you bring light clothing, a small umbrella and a cardigan or shawl (as the air conditioning in most establishments can be very cold).

They are pretty inexpensive, provided there are no major international events on in Singapore at the time of your visit. My favorite in Singapore is Traders, but it’s quite pricey.
Late May/ Early June you can expect warm and humid weather with occasional rains.
I’ve been to Singapore several times, and of late have booked through asiarooms.com. The rates are exceptional and are some of the cheapest around. They’re always reliable and get back to you pretty quickly after you’ve put in a request for a hotel room. In Singapore, I can wholeheartedly recommend the Allson Hotel in the city centre. Asiarooms has it listed for US$90 per night. If you’d like something with a bit more class, how about the Gallery Hotel in Chinatown, for US$125? Quite different, funky hotel with an awesome pool. The weather at those times should be fine and humid, but you might still experience an afternoon shower nonetheless.
Your budget of USD120 can get you a 4star hotel but if you do not want to spend so much on rooms, I would think that some of the hotels along Bencoolen St would be a good bet as they are located just outside the shopping belt but conveniently linked to all the major shopping places by buses or train. Some of the hotels would be Hotel Rendevous (4 star), Hotel Bencoolen, Bayview City, Hotel 81 Bencoolen which are all 3 stars. Allson Hotel along Victoria St is also at a good location. You can also try the YMCA. Personally, unless you are really fussy about the rooms and have money to throw, I think it is not worth spending so much on rooms as long as they are clean, comfortable and in convenient and safe locations. Hotels in Spore are expensive as compared to the rest of the Asean countries.
Hi I work for and may be able to help. Usually the best price for a hotel is when you make a booking on the web. Basically when a hotel, motel etc signs up with an online hotel wholesaler they promise to offer the best prices for online reservations. This answers the question when you go to the hotel desk and you hear someone saying they can get it cheaper on the web and the hotel won’t match the price.
The next thing is the closer to your travel date the cheaper the accommodation managers make their rooms online. The best way to find a last minute room is to search for standby hotel Singapore. You do run the risk of not getting exactly what you what and where you want.
As for price most of the big wholesalers will give you an option to sort by price or location. Now we have established we are getting the best price for each hotel we have to look at location and the star rating. Star rating is issued to hotels on their room standard and facilities they offer, location is not taken into account. It may be more important for you to stay in the a better star rated hotel and have a spa etc and be prepared to travel to the city centre. I usually pay less for my accommodation and spend more on tours and busses etc.
I know this has been a long winded explanation but in sumary the hotels on offer on the web give you a better price than if you book directly at the hotel and you should be able to choose a hotel taking into consideration price, stars and location.
