PearlView Hotel, Prai – 10 minutes drive
NasmirHotel, AutoCity – 15 minutes drive

I always go to Penang but never stayed in Bukit Mertajam area. I know there’s one hotel there but I forgot the name la. Try to refrain staying at backpackers hostel if I may suggest. But anyway, congrats to your sis and tell her jangan nakal-nakal.
hmm …banyak la hotel … but if 23 Dec at least kena tempah a month awal … sebab confirm penuh … hotel tu nama dia …. ermm me too … malas nak google … hehehe

Bukit mertajam is just 30 minutes drive from butterworth. you can find a lot of hotels in butterworth or even bukit mertajam. if you look for alternative..try government rest house in kulim kedah, which is 20 minutes away from bukit mertajam.
